Doctor David Bassett

Dr David Bassett has interests in Family, Sports and Injury Medicine as well as Minor Surgery.   He believes in treating as naturally as possible, and is open to alternative therapies. He graduated from Otago University in 1976 and has worked mainly as a GP.  He has gained diplomas in Sports Medicine and Emergency Medicine.  Has also worked as a ski field Doctor and with the DHB in Primary Care liasison work and as a medical advisor for readers of a national newspaper.
Dr Bassett lives locally and enjoys relaxing with his wife Dr Helen MacDonald and their two teenage children.  His interests include olive oil farming, beach activites, movies and art.
